The Dharamsala Insight Tour has been designed specifically for those who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the situation in Tibet and an insiders view into the exile Tibetan community in Dharamsala.
Departing 7 November, you will be immersed in the life and culture of Tibetans in exile. You will:
- meet and hear the stories of ex-political prisoners at Gu Chu Sum;
- watch artisans at work at the Norbulingka Institute of Art and Culture;
- visit Gyuto Monastery, the home of the Karmapa;
- visit the Tibetan Children’s Village and the Tibetan Women’s Association;
- tour the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives and participate in some introductory meditation;
- visit Men Tsee Khang Medical and Astrological Institute
